Branch Elections 2021

Elections are approaching again, where members can stand for positions in the Branch – there are a number of positions which are up for election each year to ensure that the Branch is run democratically.

The timetable for this is agreed by the Branch Committee and all nomination forms need to be in by 12 noon on Friday 15th January 2021.

The below roles are elected at the Branch AGM or by member ballot if there is opposition. The Self Organised Group Officers and the APF Officer are elected by their SOG’s at their AGM’s (Held in Feb/March to start in April 2021).

The Assistant Branch Secretaries and the Senior Stewards are elected by their respective Directorate Stewards committee meeting. (Held in Feb or March to start in the new term of office in April 2021)

The nomination form is below, you need to email this to marked Elections in the subject line. You need two members to nominate you to be able to stand for election, if you are not in your workplace currently – you can get two other members to nominate you and then CC them into the email when you send the form. Checks will be completed to verify nominations.
