Disability History Month Training Courses

During UNISON’s Year of Disabled members UNISON Birmingham Branch is celebrating Disability History month and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by running the following training courses around disability.

These will be hybrid sessions held in the Branch Office with the option to join online via ZOOM. The following sessions will be available:

Disability Awareness
Thursday 17th November
2.00 – 4.00 pm

Course info: what constitutes disability discrimination.

Stress Awareness
Thursday 24th November
2.00 – 4.00 pm

Disability Awareness
Friday 2nd December
2.00 -4.00 pm

Course info: what is the Equality Act 2010, the social model of disability, Equality and reasonable adjustments and the role of Access to Work.

Autism Awareness
Tuesday 6th December
2.00 – 4.00 pm

Stress Awareness
Thursday 15th December
2.00 – 4.00 pm
