Every year UNISON Branches hold elections for all officers, senior stewards and workplace stewards. Any member can stand to become a workplace steward or a branch officer in Birmingham UNISON.
If there isn’t a steward in your workplace currently and you would like to know more about what this role entails, please either phone or email Janine Broderick – call 0121 200 3331 janine.broderick@birminghamunison.co.uk . To become a workplace steward you can arrange a meeting with other UNISON members in your workplace and hold an election for steward. We are happy to help you with this if you contact us.
