On Saturday 7 June 2025 a major demonstration will take place in London calling for an end to austerity and to Stop the Cuts.
Called by the People Assembly it is backed by UNISON and many other national unions including the National Education Union, UNITE, PCS, Fire Brigades Union and the RMT.
We are asking Birmingham Branch members to join together to take the message of what it is like to experience cuts on a scale never before imposed on a local Council. £150 million last year, another £150 this year, slashing services to the most vulnerable, cutting jobs and now attacking the pay of refuse workers and pupil guides.
